Male Artist Making Unique Murals For Late Dad’s Tomb Earns Reactions Online

MURALS ON TOMBS – A male artist from Pateros, Metro Manila goes viral online for making unique murals on tombs.

All Souls’ Day, also known as the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed and the Day of the Dead is a day of prayer and remembrance for the faithful departed, which is observed by Roman Catholics and other Christian denominations.

Undas has been already a part of the Philippine culture and tradition. Most Filipino people usually visit the grave of their departed loved ones to offer prayer and light a candle on their tomb. Some people clean and paint the tombs before the holiday.

Recently, an artist from Pateros, Metro Manila earns praise from the online community for making unique murals on tombs. His post immediately spread like wildfire online after it was posted o social media.

The artist named Jae Valencia has been painting murals on the tomb of his late father every Undas. The painter’s father passed away in 2008 because of a heart attack due to excessive drinking of alcoholic beverages and smoking cigarettes. Jae’s dad loves music, basketball, and plants.

The young artist has posted a collection of unique mural paintings on the tomb of his late father. Beautifying his deceased father’s tomb has been his yearly tradition for more than a decade.

Valencia has painted a pack of Marlboro cigarettes, San Miguel Beer Pale Pilsen, plants, guitar, and other designs. He chooses those designs, which remind him of his late father.
