Lolit Solis clarified something about the apology post she shared for Bea Alonzo
Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis reacted to her alleged “sarcastic apology” to Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.
To recall, Lolit apologized to Bea after the actress’s manager Shirley Kuan answered the columnist’s write-ups. For several months, Bea has become a frequent topic in Lolit’s Instagram posts and all of them are leaning toward the negative side.
After Shirly slammed Lolit, the latter shared a write-up apologizing to the actress. However, there were comments that surfaced saying that the veteran writer was saying sorry but sounded sarcastic.
In an article published on NewsKo’s site, it was said that Lolit Solis contradicted this allegation about her apology. She said that for people who do not know her personally, she may be hated and bashed but those who know her very well would understand her.
When asked if she was sarcastic when she apologized to Bea, the writer said, “Hindi, totoo ‘yon. Talagang humihingi ako ng sorry kay Bea. ‘Yung mga pinagsasabi ko, pero na-appreciate ko si Bea dahil sa rami kong sinabi, wala siyang ginawa. In fairness sa kanya, wala siyang sinabing masama sa akin.”
She stressed that she was sincere when she said sorry to Bea. Then, Lolit mentioned that even veteran actress Lorna Tolentino and actor Paolo Contis who worked with Bea Alonzo before attested that the latter is a kind person.
“Kahit si Bong (Senator Bong Revilla) siya ang unang nagsabi sa akin na tigilan ko na nga raw. So ako, talagang totoo ‘yon, sincere ako sa pagso-sorry,” the veteran showbiz writer shared.
Lolit said that if other people perceived that her apology was not sincere, then, this is no longer her problem. After the writer’s apology post to Bea, she has not shared a post attacking the actress.
