Police Arrest Lady Suspect for Stealing Laptop & Hiding It Under Her Skirt
A lady suspect has been arrested by the police authorities for stealing a laptop and hiding it under her skirt.
The employees of a computer store at Gilmore Avenue in Quezon City were about to close the shop when members of the alleged Salisi Gang attacked. A lady senior citizen and a man wearing a cap entered the store.
The two pretend as customers inside the shop while some of their colleagues served as lookouts. The suspects went into the cabinet wherein the laptops were displayed. The man took a laptop and hide the gadget inside the lady’s skirt.
The female thief immediately leave the establishment while the male suspect tried to distract the store attendant. The store manager noticed their illegal activity and urged the shop employees to chase the suspects.
The staff cornered the 29-year-old man and his senior citizen colleague. The two suspects identified as Vince Borsoto and Irene Maguidad were brought to Cubao Police Station. The authorities recovered a laptop worth P40,000 from the suspects.
According to the guy, they are supposed to sell the gadget at a lower price.
The police authorities conclude that the thieves were members of a syndicate group after numerous customers asked for assistance from the staff simultaneously during the time of the incident.
“Palagay ko eh grupo sila kasi kukunin ang attention mo, kailangan ng maraming kasama habang sumasalisi ka eh,” Cubao Police Station Duty Office Pcapt. Jovencio Solis said.
Borsoto and Maguidad will face charges of theft.
