Katutubo Students Went Viral for Eating ‘Tuyo’ During Lunch Break at School
Two katutubo students eating rice and ‘tuyo’ for their lunch at school go viral and break the hearts of the netizens.
Over the past few decades, a lot of Filipino people have experienced poverty and hardships especially when it comes to education. Some students were even walking all the way from their homes heading to school and vice versa.
Several students could not even afford to buy food at school due to poverty. Some kids have no ‘baon’ and lunch at school.
Recently, a Facebook user named Chris Jan Emperaro Narciso shared video footage of a katutubo students eating rice and ‘tuyo’ for lunch at school. The video immediately circulates online after it was posted on social media.
In the video, it can be seen that the katutubo students were preparing their lunch at school. One student prepares two pieces of dried fish for himself while his friend also eats rice with tuyo and a piece of banana.
The two young boys happily enjoyed their meal despite their situation. The kids did not mind their viand and showed their happiness while eating. The video only proves that there are a lot of Filipino kids who were experiencing hardships at school.
