Ogie Diaz was asked about the issue between his fellow talent managers
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared his thoughts on the issue between columnist-talent manager Lolit Solis and Bea Alonzo‘s manager Shirley Kuan.
After months of tirades that Lolit had against Bea, Shirley has finally spoken just recently to defend the Kapuso actress. Following this, Shirley decided to resign from Professional Artists Managers, Inc. (PAMI). Bea’s manager said that she can’t be in an organization where acts of bullying are tolerated.
Lolit shared with the public the Viber chat in which Shirley was telling the organization’s head about her decision to resign. Days after this, Lolit Solis confirmed that PAMI expelled her for sharing the said private conversation within their group.
Although the columnist-talent manager said that she is accepting this decision of PAMI, she kept on criticizing some members who are “plastic.”
In line with this issue, entertainment reporter Eugene Asis asked Ogie Diaz to share his opinion. Ogie said that Lolit and Shirley are old enough and they are among the pillars of PAMI. However, he is saddened by the current issue between Lolit and Shirley.
The talent manager-vlogger said that Lolit and Shirley should talk about this and fix whatever problem they have with each other. “Mahirap magtanim ng sama ng loob sa puso, minsan kasama mo yan sa pagtulog. Baka ang ending niyan, hanggang kinabukasan, tulog ka pa rin,” Ogie jokingly said.
He stressed that a conversation between Lolit and Shirley should take place in order to avoid the involvement of their talents in this issue. Ogie Diaz also said that he understands both Lolit Solis and Shirley Kuan because he is a manager also.
“Ang hindi ko naiintindihan, ang tatanda na natin sa industriya ganito pa rin ang gusto nating i-set na example sa mga batang managers, sa industriya, di ba?” the talent manager-vlogger said. He also said that they must be the one fixing the problems of younger talent managers.
