CIDG NCR South chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Jason Gatdula said that the victims reported those incidents after some of them failed to be admitted to the coast guard for being under height.

“Siningil lang po sila ng P150,000 each. Subalit after ng ilang several weeks and months, hindi naman po sila nakapasok sa Coast Guard kasi yung isa ay under height,” Gatdula said.

A 28-year-old victim identified as Ahiron Muksan who works as a factory worker narrated that Macapage introduced herself as a bureaucrat from Malacañang. 15 other complainants also filed complaints against the scammers.

However, the suspects denied the allegations against them. “Bigla na lang po akong dinampot po. Sabi raw i-scam, ginanyan ko po ang pera sabi ko para sa Coast Guard po… dadalhin kay ma’am Princess,” Hatae said.

Meanwhile, Macapage admitted her involvement in the activity. She explained that some of her clients were able to get a position and she is already resolving the issue.
