The mother of Jane de Leon shared how the actress coped with bashing
Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon is reaping the success of her series Darna and this is something that makes her mother so happy as well.
Marie de Leon, the mother of Jane, has been very supportive of her career in showbiz. As a mother, Marie also gets hurt every time her daughter receives negative reactions. The mother of the celebrity said that she gets affected as well by the hurtful words being thrown at her daughter.
In a recent interview with PUSH, Marie said that it is just normal that she would get hurt also. “Siyempre, sinusubukan ko rin naman maging okay emotionally para sa anak ko kasi isa ako sa pinaghuhugutan nya ng lakas,” she said.
Jane de Leon’s mom also admitted that at first, the actress got affected by the bashing that she receives. However, the Darna star was already able to know the ways to handle negative comments.
Marie said that her daughter now knows how the entertainment industry works and she is trying to understand her bashers. “She just wants to stay positive at mas bigyan ng importansya ang mga taong nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa kanya,” the celebrity’s mom said.
Marie said that her daughter no longer needs her advice when it comes to dealing with negative comments. It is because Jane is already mature and responsible but she still reminds her daughter about this.
When asked about Jane’s after the success of Darna, Marie said that her daughter remained the same. “Jane is still the same person na minahal at nakilala ng mga tao since she became an artist in ABS-CBN hanggang ngayong siya na si Darna. She remained simple, humble, and compassionate,” she said.
The mother of Jane de Leon stressed that the actress is still the same although she gets misunderstood sometimes because she is an introvert. When the actress feels comfortable, this is the time when her “kulit” side comes out.
