Video of Student Drinking Beer Inside Class Receives Criticisms Online
A video of a group of students drinking beer during their class received criticism and elicited reactions from the online community.
A group of young students who brought beer into the middle of the class received criticism on social media. Some online users posted the footage of them filling a glass with beer.
The said group is shown consuming beer from the aforementioned tumbler in the following segment of the video. It appears that the group also brought finger appetizers like peanuts to go along with the alcoholic beverage.
In the aforementioned video, their teacher can be seen being oblivious to her students’ illicit activities as she teaches. Drinking in schools is absolutely prohibited, as the aforementioned students demonstrated.
Alcohol consumption, visiting the school grounds while intoxicated, or bringing alcoholic beverages on campus are all deemed offenses by the students. Students who are found out may face interventions and sanctions as necessary.
Netizens who were concerned about the situation also contacted the Department of Education (DepEd). If it is determined that the aforementioned students drank on school property, they can face punishment. A few online users responded to what the aforementioned students did in class.
