6/55 GRAND LOTTO WINNERS – The winners of the October 1, 2022 draw of the Grand Lotto start coming to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to claim their share of the jackpot prize.
The P236 million jackpot prize of the 6/55 Grand Lotto will be divided among the 433 winners. Each share which is P454,245.24 is subject to a 20% tax deduction. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, PCSO confirmed that the 6/55 Grand Lotto winners started coming to their office to claim their prize.
One of the winners, “Lucas”, is a retired cop from Nueva Vizcaya who is now a farmer. He travelled for 8 hours to claim his prize. According to him, he changes his betting combination every now and then but it is usually based on lucky 7, lucky 8, or lucky 9.
Another winner, “Sonia”, claimed that she has been joining the daily lotto draws for five years now. Based on the report, another winner, “Neneng” said that it is her second time to bet on the winning combination with the first attempt last September 28 but she did not win.

6/55 LOTTO WINNERS – The October 1, 2022 draw of the 6/55 Grand Lotto gained a total of 433 lucky winners.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) holds the lotto games such as 6/58 Ultra Lotto, 6/55 Grand Lotto, 6/49 Super Lotto, 6/45 Mega Lotto, and 6/42 Lotto. These games have respective draw dates and different grand prizes.
And on October 1, 2022, Saturday, seemingly like the first time in the PCSO history, a total of 433 bettors won all at the same time.
The winning combination is:
09 – 45 – 36 – 27 – 18 – 54
The jackpot prize is Php 236,091,188.40 and this will be subjected to a 20% tax deduction pursuant to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law. The 20 percent of this jackpot prize is Php 47,218,237.68.
And since there are 433 winners, each of them will approximately receive this amount: Php 436,196.19.
In the history of lotto, one of the biggest jackpot prizes won was the jackpot prize of the 6/58 Ultra Lotto. It reached more than Php 1 billion and has hooked a huge part of the Filipino populace.
For several draws, long lines existed at the different PCSO lotto outlets nationwide. Many were hopeful of winning the P1-billion jackpot prize of the Ultra Lotto. Celebrities and ordinary individuals joined the game.
Two bettors won the 6/58 lotto jackpot prize on October 14, 2018. Each of them got Php 472 million. The 6/58 lotto winner from Samar reportedly gave away “balato” to the city hall employees and the tricycle drivers in his town.
