The mother of Xian Lim gave this advice to his loveteam with Kim Chiu
Mary Anne Lim, the mother of Kapuso actor Xian Lim is thankful that his son’s love team with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu did not have any scandal.
From being onscreen partners, Kim and Xian became a real-life couple. Their tandem is popularly called KimXi. Throughout the years, they have done many TV series and movie projects together. Their reunion film Always was released just recently.
In a new vlog that Kim shared on her YouTube channel, she and Xian featured the latter’s mother. Mommy Mary Anne shared the life that she and Xian had in the States before they decided to go back to the Philippines.
The mother of Xian Lim shared that they experienced discrimination in the U.S. As a newbie in school back then, the actor was shy and he needed time to adjust. “Pinatawag ako ng teacher niya. He was in middle school. Kakarating lang namin sa US. Sabi niya, ‘Your son is not speaking in class,'” Mommy Mary Anne shared. She tried to explain and the teacher accused Xian of not knowing how to speak English.
“Gusto kong sabihin sa kanya, ‘Excuse me? I think he has perfect grammar than you do.’,” Xian’s mother shared. The actor said that his mother has been very supportive of him. She did not impose on him what he should do for a living or the things he must do.
Mommy Mary Anne was also asked about the KimXi tandem. She admitted that her favorite movies of Xian and Kim were Bride for Rent and Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? However, the actor’s mother revealed that she does not like the movie Past Tense.
When asked to give her advice to the loveteam, Mommy Mary Anne highlighter how happy she is that there was no scandal that came between the KimXi.
“Syempre ‘yung forever kayo. That explains everything. Forever. I’m happy nagkakasundo kayo. Wala kayong scandal, wala kayong third party. It’s very pure. I’m very proud. I can say perfect love team. Ganun ang KimXi. It transcends all generations,” Xian Lim’s mother said.
