Video of Motorcycle Rider Fighting Off Urge to Use Bicycle Lane Goes Viral
A motorcycle rider earned praises and admiration from the online community for fighting off the urge to use the bicycle lane.
Nowadays, the Philippine government and the traffic authorities are implementing stricter rules and regulations in the country. The authorities aim to reduce the increasing rate of accidents in the country.
The stricter traffic policy aims to ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians. However, there are several motorists who continue to violate the traffic rules for their benefit. Offenders will be subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared video footage of a motorcycle rider who fights his urge to use the bicycle lane. The video circulates online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the motorcycle rider together with his partner is slowly driving along the road. However, the vehicle driver behind the rider noticed that he choose to stay in his lane.
The rider remained in his lane and did not even attempt to use the bike lane to overtake other vehicles. Unfortunately, several motorists including tricycle drivers choose to use the bike lane although it is strictly prohibited.
