PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (September 27, 2022)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Typhoon Karding has exited PAR but habagat will bring rains over parts of the country.

On Tuesday (September 27, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Karding exited the Philippine area of responsibility. Karding has been last located 735 kilometers west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan with maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 185 kph.

The southwest monsoon will be affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The habagat will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Bataan, Zambales, and Western Visayas.

The southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather agency has also warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

However, the fair weather condition will prevail in the remaining parts of Visayas and the whole of Mindanao with chances of isolated rain in the afternoon or evening.

“Sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon at Metro Manila, ay magiging maganda at maaliwalas na ang panahon, pero may tsansa pa rin ng mga isolated na pag-ulan dulot ng thunderstorm. Ang mga pag-ulan na ito ay inaasahan sa bandang hapon o gabi,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldcazar Aurelio said.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas, and the western section of Mindanao will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of Mindanao will have a slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to the weather bureau.
