Heartless Man Who Beats 1-Year-Old Son Kneels Before Statue of Mary After He Was Arrested
A heartless man who beats his one-year-old son kneeled before the image of the Virgin Mary outside the police station.
Earlier, it has been reported that a one-year-old baby suffered a blood clot after he was beaten by his own father in Purok Nangka in Compostela, Cebu. The authorities were able to rescue the kid identified as alias Dodoy.
Dodoy suffered hematoma and wounds after he was mauled by his own father. The suspect and his just left the kid unconscious prompting his sister-in-law to report the incident to the authorities.
The rescuers brought the kid to Danao Hospital but were transferred to Vicente Sotto Medical Center. Initially, the boy lost his pulse but the doctors were able to revive him but he still need to undergo surgery after suffering a blood clot in his brain.
The parents reportedly abused the twin because of poverty. The culprit is also accused of using illegal drugs.
On Monday (September 26, 2022), the 44-year-old man identified as alias William has been arrested at the Carbon Public Market in Cebu City. He was caught via citizen’s arrest.
According to the Compostela Police report, the suspect and his wife had an argument over money. The culprit allegedly used the money on buying illegal drugs leaving their one-year-old baby crying due to hunger.
Willian beat the baby after it started to cry. Willian even kneeled before the image of the Virgin Mary outside the police station in Compostela, Cebu to ask for forgiveness.
