Hotel Staff Finds Dead Woman Inside Hotel Room in Dumaguete
WOMAN – The hotel staff found a female client dead inside her hotel room in Dumaguete in the province of Negros Oriental.
Daily, there are unfortunate happenings taking place in different parts of the country. Some of these instances left cases with clear suspects while others are still under investigation as to what really happened. Unfortunately, some of these unforeseen happenings have taken the lives of some people.
Recently, in Dumaguete, a city in the province of Negros Oriental, staff of a hotel found a woman dead inside one of the hotel rooms. The female persona was yet to be identified in reports.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Police Lieutenant Colonel Roland Lavisto, the spokesperson of Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said that receptionist of the hotel knocked at the door of the hotel room but no one answered.
The hotel staff opened the room using the master key. They found a woman lying in the hotel bed lifeless. Based on the report, the hotel staff rushed the female persona to the hospital but she was declared dead on arrival.
Police Lt. Col. Roland Lavisto said that the investigation of the Scenes of Crime Operations (SOCO) is ongoing and they have yet to determine the woman’s cause of death. More updates may be posted soon.
The said incident is not the first time in the Philippines. There were cases in the past when people were found dead inside a hotel room. In January 2021, the social media platforms were taken by storm by reports about the death of a flight attendant, Christine Dacera, who was found dead inside the bathroom of a room of a hotel in Makati.
The news broke largely. Dacera was with her friends then and some of them brought her to the hospital but she did not survive. She and her friends partied the night before it for the New Year celebration.
