Bong Revilla Offers Thoughts On Vhong Navarro, Deniece Cornejo Case
BONG REVILLA – Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. shared his thoughts on the rape case filed by Deniece Cornejo against Vhong Navarro.
Ferdinand Hipolito Navarro, known professionally as Vhong Navarro is a Pinoy dancer, tv host, and actor. He’s a regular host on Kapamilya’s noontime variety show “It’s Showtime.”
The 45-year-old celebrity was detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) because of the arrest warrant with no recommended bail that was issued against him for the rape case filed by model Deniece Cornejo.
Amid this controversy, Vhong Navarro has been receiving support from his fans and fellow celebrities. His dance group mates Streetboys started the “We Stand With Vhong” movement and his Its Showtime family also stands with him in this battle.
His wife Tanya Bautista is in all-out support for him as well. She said she believed in the innocence of her husband since day one.

Just recently, based on the article in Philstar, Senator Bong Revilla shared his thought on Vhong Navarro’s rape case. He was interviewed during a media event for his upcoming birthday.
“Kung talagang ginawa niya ‘yun, makikita naman ng korte ‘yan, pananagutan niya ‘yun. Kung hindi naman niya ginawa, that is so unfair for him na magdusa siya sa kulungan nang wala siyang kasalanan,” said Bong.
According to the report, Bong Revilla added that he heard about the matter during the time he was held in Camp Crame and recommended that the hearing in the case be expedited in the hopes of a speedy conclusion. The politician was formerly detained for plunder charges.
“Mabigat magbatuhan ng putik. Hindi natin alam kung ano talaga totoo diyan. Kaya ang masasabi ko lang, kung talagang walang kasalanan, dapat matapos na ‘yan. Kawawa naman ‘yung tao magsa-suffer nang walang kasalanan. Pero kung talagang nagkasala siya diyan dapat harapin niya ‘yun,” Bong ended.
