Many people expressed their support for him but some have a different stand on the highly-publicized matter. His dance group mates started the “We Stand With Vhong” and his family in Its Showtime also stands with him in this battle.

And the very person behind him all through this time is his wife Tanya Winona Bautista. She expressed when she faced the media that she was not strong as she seems to be on the screen. She just makes herself appear strong for her husband.

Facing the press, Tanya expressed that the past two days were the longest two days of their lives. Vhong maintains a positive outlook at the end of this but he can’t help but get emotional at times as he is still processing everything.

“Hindi ko alam, hindi ko alam kung paano nila patutunayan ‘tong sinasabi nila. And then, suddenly, may reverse. So, alam mo yun, na parang nakikita mo na yung katapusan, e, pero, yun nga, binaligtad. So, same feeling nung before,” she said.

She also believed in the innocence of her husband since day one. He confessed to her everything and they have their worn statements and documents. All his claims were supported which is why he believes in everything he said and in his innocence.

Tanya said based on the report, “Suported yun ng mga documents or sa kung anumang ebidensiya na ibinigay namin. So, hindi ko alam kung anong nakikita nilang probable cause.”

They will fight but for now, their priority is to bail him out. She fears for her husband’s safety, most especially that there’s a possibility he will be transferred to Taguig City Jail as requested by the other camp.
