Julia Barretto Gets Strength From Mom Marjorie Amid Family Woes

MARJORIE BARRETTO – Actress Julia Barretto received some words of comfort from mom Marjorie Barretto after speaking up about her relationship with Dennis Padilla.

In the vlog of Kapamilya journalist Karen Davila that was released last, September 15, Julia Barretto unleashed some explosive details about her father Dennis Padilla. She, Claudia, and Leon are Dennis’ children with Marjorie Barretto.

The actress admitted that they are still not on speaking terms with her dad. She said that she reached a point when she found it difficult to forgive Dennis. Although she is capable of forgiveness, she said she is not yet ready.

Julia Barretto said she has experienced so much suffering since she was a child, and everything has since turned into a cruel cycle. She claimed she got tired of an on-and-off relationship because of how inconsistent it was.

The actress said she hopes that one day she and her dad will meet, make amends, and no longer cause each other pain but for now, she wants to take a break from it.

Dennis, however, said that some of Julia’s statements are not wholly accurate. He took to his IG account to ask Davila to also interview him as well in order to present 2 sides to the story of their family in a now-deleted IG post.

“@iamkarendavila… Pls be fair to all… You need to interview me… Maraming mali sa alam ni julia… Waiting sa reply mo ty,” he wrote.

Last September 18, Marjorie Barretto gave some words of comfort and advice to Julia Barretto. She wrote, “Dearest Jul, I LOVE you with the kind of love that you can trust. Love that you can depend on, and the kind that will protect you and never betray you. Maybe you need to hear this today…”

“I am so proud of you, Juli. I am so blessed to be able to call you my child. Here we go again, back in our family bubble shutting off the noise outside. Only choosing to be grateful for the good things that are in front of us. Remember Jul, God is all-knowing,” she added.
