Kim Chiu and Xian Lim reunite on the big screen
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu said that her reunion movie with her real-life boyfriend Kapuso actor Xian Lim is a gift for KimXi fans.
It has been a long time since Kim and Xian worked together in an acting project. This year, they are treating their fans with melodramatic film Always which is based on a South Korean movie with the same title.
This will surely give excitement to KimXi fans, the fandom of the couple. In a recent interview their reunion project, based on the article in Abante, Kim Chiu said that she is thankful that ABS-CBN let her do a movie under Viva Films.
She said that this project is their gift for their fans that supported their tandem since day one. “‘Yung mga fan na sumusuporta rin sa amin, it’s our regalo rin para sa kanila and for being there, naka-suporta pa rin sa amin. And parang feeling ko, tumanda kami sa mata nila,” the Chinita Princess said.
She also said that they have matured as well on the big screen. Kim pointed out that the movie poster would tell that this is a more serious project than the projects they did before. Xian Lim said that the movie definitely bring “kilig” to their fans as he and Kim also went through a lot oef difficulties but their love for each other surpassed it all.
“Sa pelikula pong ito, medyo extreme po kasi ang pinagdaanan, pero sa pelikulang ito, I learned na kahit anong challenges ang dumating sa buhay, basta nagmramahalan kayo ng tunay, ‘yun lang po ang mag-a-anchor sa inyo. Kung ano man element ang pumasok, as long as nando’n ang pagmamahal niyo sa isa’t isa, respeto at tiwala, you guys will gonna be solid. Mahal po namin ang iosa’t isa,” the actor said.
Kim Chiu said that she and Xian will not be together for a long time if he is not a good man. “Hahaha! Charot!” the actress added at the end. The actress stressed that it is because she and Xian have the same values and this is one of the factors why they are still together after more than a decade. “Parang it feels good to have a partner na kasama mo rin sa trabaho and you share the same dreams, same goals,” she said.
