Student in Bulacan Touches Netizens’ Heart for Using Unicycle Going to School
Video footage of a female student in Bulacan riding a unicycle going to her school went viral on social media and touches the heart of netizens.
On Facebook, a concerned internet user by the name of Jonathan Paa posted a heartwarming but proud video of a young girl student heading to school. A grade 7 student is shown in a shared video riding a unicycle going home from her school.
Jonathan said that the girl student rides past them every day. The girl can also be seen balancing on her one-wheeled vehicle while holding a bag in her hands.
“Araw-araw dumadaan dito yan, may hawak pa na libro yan tsaka may bag pa, mahusay siyang mag-balanse,” he said.
The female was also introduced to him, he said, when they visited her home. Jonathan learned that she was riding a unicycle because their family couldn’t afford to buy a bicycle.
“Wala raw po sila pambili ng bike, [kaya] kaysa mamasahe daw po siya pauwi, nagtitiis nalang po siya sa unicycle,” he said, based on the conversation he had with the girl.
The video touched many Internet users. The young girl’s commitment to her studies in spite of her circumstances made the online community proud of her. Because he claimed to study diligently, Jonathan asked that the girl be helped.
“Sana matulungan yung bata kasi masipag siya mag-aral,” he said.
