JULIA BARRETTO – “Expensive Candy” star Julia Barretto showed his love for Gerald Anderson’s family by attending the birthday celebration of his mother, Evangeline Opsima.

Julia Barretto is a famous actress in the Philippines. She is the daughter of seasoned actors Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto.

Gerald Anderson, a Fil-Am actor, is her current boyfriend. Gerald is eight years older than Julia. The two paired for the romance film “Between Maybes.”

Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson have become the center of controversy for a time. For a time, JuRald has become the center of controversy. This is after Julia’s name got involved in the split of Gerald with Bea Alonzo.

Although she and Gerald both denied having an affair at the height of the controversy, Julia was named as the third party. Evangeline Opsima, Gerald’s mother, spoke up for him amid the criticism and said she disapproved of her son’s relationship with Alonzo at the time. She also had a message for Julia at that time as she pointed out their age difference.

And just months after that, Gerald confirmed in an interview with veteran host Boy Abunda that he’s dating Julia. They are still being criticized but those negative comments do not affect them anymore.

Just like recently, the actor uploaded a pic of his girlfriend and him dining at a restaurant with his mom on his IG stories. Mommy Vangie can be seen in the picture holding a bouquet of flowers as she was celebrating her birthday.

In the caption of the post, he wrote: “Happy Birthday! I love you Ma.”

The 25-year-old actress seems to be getting along perfectly with Gerald’s mom, based on the photo.
