Julia guested on the longest-running noontime Eat Bulaga and became the guest player for the Bawal Judgmental segment. Maja has become a regular host of the show after she started her Dancing Kween segment.
During Julia’s guesting she had a selfie with the Batang Hamog, composed of Maja, Maine Mendoza, Miles Ocampo, and Ryzza Mae Dizon. The Expensive Candy actress even joined the Dabarkads in dancing Budots.
The selfie photo of Batang Hamog with Julia Barretto was posted on the official Instagram page of the noontime show. Many netizens said that the daughter of Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla could be part of Eat Bulaga also and join the group of Batang Hamog as they were amused by their Budots dance performance.
Some netizens also said that it is a good thing that Julia can now have guest appearances on other networks. Prior to her EB guesting, the actress promoted her new movie with Carlo Aquino on TV5’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud.
Amid the positive comments on Julia’s photo with Maja and other Dabarkads, there were those who brought up the past issue. It is known to many that Julia’s current boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson, is Maja’s ex-boyfriend.
“Mga babae sa buhay ni Budoy hehe,” a netizen commented. Budoy was the character of Gerald in the series with the same title back in 2011. Another netizen asked if there was no “ilangan” that happened between the two actresses.
