Senator Bato dela Rosa wrote a witty caption on his photo with Senator Robin Padilla and Representative of Leyte’s 4th district Richard Gomez.

Robin and Richard, from being actors, ventured into politics. Richard has completed three terms as the mayor of Ormoc City and this is the first time for Robin to be in the political arena. He ran for Senator and got the highest number of votes for this position.

From being a Mayor, Richard swapped places with his wife Lucy Torres-Gomez who previously served as the 4th district representative of Leyte and is now the Ormoc City Mayor. Both Robin and Richard supported the winning tandem of President Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte.

On September 13, a gathering was held in Malacanang for the birthday celebration of PBBM. Many of his allies joined the event including Sen. Bato dela Rosa who posed for a photo with Richard Gomez and Robin Padilla.

The former PNP Chief wrote a witty caption on his Facebook post. “Two actors turned politicians and one actor- actor turned politician,” the lawmaker wrote.
