JANELLA SALVADOR – In a statement, Markus Paterson gives light to the issues regarding his statement and his relationship with Janella Salvador.

Kapamilya actor Markus Paterson was recently slammed online based on a previous article because of the claims and remarks he made about dating someone from the show business industry. In his statement, he advised the youth to not date an artist, and this statement was made amid the raging speculations on his relationship with Janella Salvador.

Markus and Janella are parents to their son Jude. The actor was slammed online because of the “arrogance” in his statement and just recently, he finally made some clarifications about this.

In an Instagram story, he issued a brief but direct-to-the-point statement. According to his statement, he and the actress have been separated for nearly a year now. They are both happy on their own and what’s their priority now is their son Jude.

He furthered, “What I said in the podcast wasn’t actually about her but I understand that it was open to misinterpretation because of the way I phrased it & since we never actually announced our break up.”

Paterson clarified that his statement to avoid dating someone from the industry wasn’t about his ex-girlfriend Janella. But he is well aware of the implications of their silence regarding the truth about their relationship which he just exposed in that statement.

Meanwhile, before his controversial statement, Salvador shared that she is now a single mother which indirectly confirmed their split.
