Cops Arrest Male Suspect After Selling Stolen Motorcycle On Social Media

ROBBERY INCIDENT – The police authorities arrested a male suspect after selling a stolen motorcycle in Quezon City.

Robbery has been a major problem not only in the Philippines but also in various places throughout the world. Due to a lack of employment opportunities, some criminals are forced to commit crimes.

Although the Philippine government is enforcing stricter policies, crimes continue to be committed without the authorities’ knowledge. Despite tougher laws and restrictions, the rate of crime is still increasing.

A CCTV camera capture the robbery act of two individuals in Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City. One of the suspects has been caught pushing his colleague’s motorcycle while leaving the area.

According to the police authorities, the victim discovered that his motorcycle has been stolen last Wednesday (September 7, 2022). The victim spend a couple of days in the province for vacation and parked the motorcycle in front of their house.

The victim immediately reported the incident to the police authorities. The cops pretend as buyers and launched an entrapment operation to arrest the suspect. The police officers agree to buy the motorcycle at P57, 000 from the suspect.

The entrapment operation has been launched at a gasoline station on Quirino Highway and arrested the 18-year-old suspect named Angelo Gabriel Limbo. The culprit refused to give a statement regarding the incident.

The authorities were able to recover the stolen motorcycle. Limbo will face charges of New Anti-Carnapping Law and Anti-Fencing Law. The police force will conduct another follow-up operation to arrest the other suspect.
