Oil Companies Announced Rollback on Prices of Cooking Gas & Auto LPG Starting Today (September 1)
Various oil companies are set to implement a rollback on prices of cooking gas and auto LPG effective today.
Nowadays, the cost of petroleum products is essential to the economy of the nation. Pump price adjustments typically have a considerable impact on the country’s prices for goods and services.
The consecutive oil price hike during the past few months contributed to the daily burden of Filipino people, especially those who were in the public transport sector. Price rollbacks can somehow ease the struggles of Filipino drivers.
The prices of liquefied petroleum gas also matter because many Filipino families have been using it for cooking.
On Thursday (September 1, 2022), different oil firms in the country imposed a reduction on the prices of liquefied petroleum gas. The price rollback takes effect today, which will give relief to the Filipino public.
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and AutoLPG are now both P1.75 per kilogram less expensive, according to Petron Corp. Solane also cut the price of LPG by P1.62 per kilogram. Phoenix LPG Philippines Inc. reduced the cost of LPG and AutoLPG by P1.75 per kg and 95 centavos per liter, respectively.
