Hipon Girl Calls For Fans To Stop Bashing Miss Manila 2020 Alexandra Abdon

Even though it’s been two years, people still remember the alleged insult that Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol received from former Miss Manila Alexandra Abdon on “Wowowin.” Alexandra is the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate who went viral in the preliminary interviews of the national pageant two years ago.
Then, Alexandra said Herlene doesn’t have what it takes to be a beauty queen. “Kahit magpa-pageant ang nanay ni Hipon sa bahay nila, hindi siya qualified,” she said.
After this, Alexandra received massive bashing from Hipon’s fans. Miss Manila explained that what she said on the show was “scripted.” Later on, Herlene and Alexandra reconciled in Wowowin and had a collab in their respective vlogs.
The whole issue has been revived anew after Hipon earned a first runner-up finish at this year’s Binibining Pilipinas tilt. Some of Herlene’s fans still haven’t forgotten the issue.

In her latest Youtube vlog, Hipon Girl called on netizens to stop bashing Alexandra Abdon. In one part of the video, she admitted that she felt “pikon” by what Alexandra did. But that was a long time ago and should be forgotten.
“Tigilan na natin iyon, grabe naman kayo.
“Two years na pong nakalipas o magti-three years na. Hindi ko na po alam kasi nangyari yata iyon 2020?
“2022, magtu-2023 na nga po, di ba?
“Para sa akin, tigilan na natin yung pamba-bash natin kay Miss Manila. Ang sabi nga niya, scripted.”
Hipon Girl said that she was not informed it was scripted, so Alexandra’s insult on her on national television had a big impact. She said she would have calmed down her reaction if she knew it was scripted.
“Baka hindi yun ang goal niya na masaktan [ako]. Naiintindihan ko din naman.
“Sa lahat ng namba-bash sa kanya, siguro it’s time na tigilan na rin na lang natin siya kasi antagal na panahon na po noon.
“Naniniwala ako lahat ng tao puwedeng magbago, kagaya ko.
“Kaya ikaw, Miss Manila, kontakin mo na ako. Bati na tayo, di ba? 2020 pa iyon.”
Meanwhile, Alexandra remains silent regarding her issue with Herlene.
