GMA Executive reacted to this statement of Lolit Solis about Bea Alonzo

Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis shared a write-up claiming that Start-Up Korea producers reacted negatively to Bea Alonzo as the chosen actress for the Filipino version of the K-drama series.

For several instances, Lolit has commented against Bea through her Instagram posts. One of the recent write-ups she shared against the former Kapamilya actress was the alleged reaction of Korean producers of the original series.

Lolit Solis wrote.

The veteran showbiz writer added that the glam team of Bea Alonzo was unable to cover her actual age even though she is paying them expensively. She also said that rumor has it that Alden Richards was made to look mature in order to make him look the same age as Bea.

Lolit also stressed that Bea looks old and with wrinkles. “Laylay mga bilbil, mukhang losyang na laos na star,” she added. She once again mentioned the breakup that happened between Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson. Lolit said that Gerald left Bea for a young Julia Barretto.

With this claim of the veteran showbiz writer, GMA released a statement on this, based on Fashion Pulis’s post. GMA’s Vice President for Drama Productions Cheryl Ching-Sy said that there is no truth to the claim of Lolit Solis against Bea Alonzo.

“It is not true. The Korean producers of Start-Up did not react to Bea Alonzo’s look or appearance in her role. Bea, in fact, was approved by the Korean producers. Should there be further insinuations pertaining to this matter, we wish to clarify that these are not true.”

Meanwhile, Lolit shared a recent post again about Bea. In her write-up, she shared that a fan of the actress sent her “love money” which is worth $35. The fan said that it was a token of appreciation for Lolit’s “pagbibiro” about Bea and so the latter remains grounded after all the things she has achieved in her career.

The veteran showbiz writer also said that it is a good thing that a fan of the actress saw the constructive criticisms that she is sharing. She added that she is thinking of talking about the actress anymore because Team Bea is not defending her.
