Joshua Garcia talked about his friend Daniel Padilla
Darna actor Joshua Garcia shared that this moment with Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla was one of his proudest moments in the entertainment industry.
Joshua and Daniel have become close friends over the years. However, years before their friendship blossomed, Joshua was just among the younger actors who look up to Daniel. The leading man of Jane de Leon shared that it was a highlight for his career when the boyfriend of Kathryn Bernado guested on Pinoy Big Brother.
At that time, Joshua was one of the housemates. In a recent online interview by Bianca Gonzalez for CinemaNews, based on the article in Bandera, Joshua Garcia said that sharing the stage with Daniel Padilla was a proud moment for him.
It was during the 2021 ABS-CBN Christmas special. “Isa ‘yun sa mga masasabi kong proud moments ko sa showbiz. Parang before kasi pumasok lang siya sa PBB as guest namin and then housemate ako,” Joshua shared. That moment, he was singing together with the Supreme Idol on stage.
For the Darna actor, competition is not existing between them. “‘Pag may trabaho, trabaho lang kami, gawin namin ‘yun professionally,” he said. After their lock-in taping, they would see each other and have their bonding moments.
Joshua shared that his favorite bonding moment with Daniel is playing golf together when they go to Batangas.
Meanwhile, Joshua Garcia is receiving positive feedback for his acting stints these past years. After his Viral Scandal series, he is again starring in a big production project, Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The Series. Aside from this TV series project, the actor also confirmed in a recent interview that his movie Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan will be released this year. He said that he hopes it will be included in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
