Claudine Barretto said that she let Raymart Santiago to file for annulment
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto shared that she wants her estranged husband actor Raymart Santiago to pay for their annulment.
Claudine and Raymart tied the knot in a civil ceremony in 2004. Two years later, they held their church wedding. After nine years of being together, they separated, and until now their annulment is still being processed.
In a recent interview, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the actress was asked about the status of her annulment with her estranged husband. She said that they just started the process.
Claudine Barretto shared that she and Raymart Santiago disagreed on something and so they are back to the beginning. “Yung parang kung kailan tahimik, eto na naman. Ayaw na namang tumigil,” she shared.
The Optimum Star also said that the hearing for the annulment has not started yet. “Eto pa lang yung sasagot pa lang,” she said. Claudine revealed that she let Raymart file the annulment because she wants him to pay for this.
“Siya na ang pinag-file ko. Alangan naman ako pa rin ang gumastos pagkatapos ng lahat ng nakuha niya. Dyusko! Hahaha! Siya ang gumastos, di ba? Siya ang may kailangan, siya ang gumastos,” the actress quipped.
When asked if Raymart is already preparing something as he wants to nullify their marriage, Claudine answered, “Maybe… Siguro.” The actor is currently in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria.
Claudine also revealed that she and Raymart haven’t talked to each other for a long time now. It was just always their lawyers who are communicating. With this, the actress was asked if there is no possibility of a reconciliation between her and Raymart for the sake of their kids Sabina and Santino. “Alam mo, trinay ko na, pero hindi effective, e. So, bahala na siya,” the actress answered.
