Niña Jose Draws Flak For Late Suspension Of Classes in Bayambang, Pangasinan Due To Storm Florita
NIÑA JOSE – Mayor Niña Jose draws criticisms for late suspension of classes in Bayambang, Pangasinan due to storm Florita.
Before featuring in various ABS-CBN shows including “Nagsimula sa Puso,” “Pedro Penduko at ang mga Englanto,” and “I Dare You,” Niña Jose first appeared on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in 2006. In 2017, she married former Bayambang, Pangasinan Mayor Cezar Quiambao.
They exchanged vows in a lavish church wedding at Bayambang Cathedral. Cezar is the CEO of Stradcom Corporation and a billionaire. Their relationship has become controversial due to the 33 years age gap.
Niña Jose is now the Mayor of the Municipality of Bayambang, Pangasinan. She’s the town’s first female mayor.
Just recently, the 33-year-old politician draws flak for late suspension of classes in her municipality due to storm Florita. The tropical storm is now ravaging Luzon this Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Through Facebook, Niña Jose shared her thoughts on the bashing she received. She took the blame for the late declaration of the suspension of classes due to tropical storm.
She admitted that she was too late to declare a class suspension today. Based on her post, around eight o’clock in the morning she announced that classes in private and public schools in her town have been suspended.
The former actress said she had a previous announcement but only up to pre-school. She further explained that, apart from being the head of the city, she was also a mother who considered her child’s education. She promised it will never happen again.
“I do take the blame, parents should use their own discretion- I am a parent my son is grade 1 and late ko na din nasuspend.. and the thing is I really am the parent of the whole town- INA ng bayan so I do take the blame,” she said.
