A delivery rider has been found dead in Quezon Province after she has been abducted at a gasoline station in Batangas.

On Wednesday (August 17, 2022), a Facebook user named Jane Cabello shared the video footage of unidentified suspects who snatched her husband at a gasoline station. The video circulates online and elicits comments from the netizens.

On Thursday (August 18, 2022), the lifeless body of the delivery rider who has been abducted at a gasoline station in Taal, Batangas Wednesday has been found on Eco-Tourism Road in Sitio Pontor, Barangay Bignay 2.

The victim has been identified as Eugene Cabello of Lemery, Batangas, according to the police authorities. The victim suffered bullet wounds in the head and back, which leads to his untimely death.

Sariaya police chief Police Lt. Col. William Angway reported that found Cabello’s face covered and hands behind his back. The suspects also wrapped packaging tape around the delivery worker’s head.

The poor rider was on his way home after he had just disembarked from a bus from Manila when he was abducted. The kidnapping incident has been caught by a CCTV camera installed at a gasoline station.
