The lady suspect who served as a co-maker explained that her daughter’s live-in partner fled together with the motorcycle.

“Ako co-maker lang ako wala naman akong kinalaman doon, tapos ang ano talaga yung kinakasama niya yun talaga yung nanghiram sa kanya tapos hindi na isinauli, kaso co-maker ako at nakapangalan sa kanya kaya kami lang yung nahuli,” the woman said.

QCPD PS6 P/Lt Kenny John Rapiz said that the two can contact the police authorities once they have located the carnapper. He also urged the suspects to attend the hearing.

“Kung mapalutang man nila yung lalaki siguro makipag-ugnayan sila sa court umattend sila ng hearing kasi ito naman may return warrant naman kaya ma nonotify yung court natin at ma re-reschedule yung hearing nila,” Rapiz said.

However, the authorities are looking into the possibility that it “carnap me” modus. The cops explained that it’s up to the motorcycle dealer whether they will sue the suspects or not. The court sets a bail of P300, 000 for the two.
