These are the reactions of the people over the Vhong Navarro Case that emerged again.
VHONG NAVARRO CASE – The Court of Appeals (CA) ordered the filing of charges against TV host and actor Vhong Navarro.
In 2014, model-stylist Deniece Cornejo surfaced with charges of sexual against Kapamilya host Vhong Navarro. This was the same time when Navarro was caught in the middle of an incident that left him severely injured.
The charges filed were junked by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2018 and 2020 but it seems like the legal won’t be over just yet. The CA 14th Division ordered the DOJ to file the same charges that were filed against the actor in 2014 that were related to the incident involving Cornejo based on a previous article.
The order reversed the DOJ decision with the CA sighting that it was erroneous for the DOJ for denying Cornejo’s petition to review the grounds of her statement’s inconsistency. To recall, DOJ junked the file cases versus the actor due to a lack of probable cause and “major inconsistencies”. In the second one, DOJ’s denial was because the encounter between them was accordingly consensual.
With the resurfacing of this subject, among the most controversial, many people could not help but express their opinion. Others slammed Navarro for it while others believed that the host did not do it except for the part that he became unfaithful to his partner at that time who is now his wife.
