Rowena Guanzon caught the attention of Marcos supporters due to these tweets
P3PWD Party List Representative Rowena Guanzon shared these tweets about the first State of the Nation Address of President Bongbong Marcos and these received reactions from supporters of the Chief Executive.
It is known to many that Guanzon is a critic of PBBM. During the election campaign period, the former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner has been posting against Marcos. She was proud to announce that she voted to disqualify Marcos from the presidential race.
Guanzon supported and campaigned for the candidacy of former Vice President Leni Robredo. However, she shared her positive feedback on the SONA of President Marcos.
On Twitter, netizen @reyna_elena, a supporter of PBBM shared screenshots of these tweets of Rep. Rowena Guanzon. “Yung tinawag nyang magnanakaw, bobo walang diploma ngayon may pa check check pa sya. Tse!” the netizen wrote in the caption.
The party list representative enumerated the projects that the new President intends to do for different sectors such as livelihood loans for farmers and fisherfolks, as well as for agrarian reform beneficiaries.
The lawmaker also highlighted PBBM’s aim for the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to have a fast response in giving financial support to solo parents and calamity survivors, as well as VAWs and PWDs.
With this, supporters of PBBM slammed the former Comelec Commissioner. There was a netizen who said in jest that Guanzon will be canceled because she is already agreeing to PBBM. One netizen accused the party list representative of being “sipsip.” There was also a supporter who pointed out that now, Cong. Rowena Guanzon realized that President Marcos is fit to lead the country.
Meanwhile, the criticism from the former Comelec Commission apparently has no negative effect on the Marcos family. To recall, Representative Sandro Marcos, the eldest son of PBBM, even showed a gesture of respect towards Guanzon when they met at an event.
