PAST PARTICIPLE OF GO – This is the meaning of past participle in English Grammar and a list of some words with this form.
In English Grammar, the past participle form is the completed action. It is used in two ways: to create past verb forms and as an adjective.
It has two categories, regular verbs and irregular verbs. Creating this particular form of a regular verb is relatively easy. Usually, like in the past simple of the verb, an -ed is added. It does follow a pattern. But in the irregular verb, the creation doesn’t follow a fixed pattern.
To understand and know this form of a verb, you should learn first the past tense of the verb. And from here, things will get simple.
As for the word “go” (an irregular verb), its past participle form is “gone”.
