Pauleen Luna shared things about her relationship with Vic Sotto
Eat Bulaga host Pauleen Luna revealed how she knew that Bossing Vic Sotto is “the one” for her.
When Pauleen and Vic confirmed their relationship, various reactions were expressed. However, despite the negative reactions, they have proven that their love for each other is stronger.
In a recent interview on Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel, Pauleen said that at the start of their relationship it was like “you and me against the world.”
“Ang dami talagang kontra, ang daming hindi nakaintindi. So many people were weirded out. Ako rin naman slight,” the Eat Bulaga host admitted.
Pauleen Luna clarified that it was not about their age gap. Bossing Vic is 34 years older than his wife. However, Pauleen said that the age gap was never an issue to them but for her, it was their status in showbiz.
Vic is known as one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry in the Philippines but behind his stardom, Pauleen said that her husband is very simple.
“The person that you see on TV is so different from the person that I live with. He’s so simple, nakakatuwa ‘yung pagka-simple niya. Siyempre ‘yung status niya, ‘Huh, talaga ba?'” she said.
Pauleen also said that when they are together, the status in showbiz is gone and when she realized this, she immediately knew that he is “the one.”
“But when we’re together, kaming dalawa lang, wala talaga eh. Siya si Vic, ako lang si Pauleen. All these titles and names, they all go out the window. I realized na parang it was something serious noong all of those didn’t matter,” she shared.
Pauleen also shared that she received a lot of mean comments from the people she doesn’t know and even from the people she knows. Although Vic knew about the bashing, Pauleen said that they never talked about it. “Hindi lang ako, that’s why I said ‘You and me against the world,‘” she said.
Pauleen Luna stressed that maybe this made their relationship stronger and because they are really in it together. The couple tied the knot in 2016 and was blessed with a daughter named Talitha Maria in 2017.
