Janno Gibbs reacted to this post against the Aquino family
Singer-actor Janno Gibbs slammed a social media post suggesting that the Aquino family is cursed.
Janno was one of the celebrities who were visible during the election season. He is also vocal about expressing his political beliefs on social media.
The singer supported the candidacy of former Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Kiko Pangilinan who also received support from Kris Aquino, the youngest daughter of the late President Cory Aquino and the late Senator Ninoy Aquino, and sister of the late President Noynoy Aquino.
In a recent Instagram post of Janno Gibbs, he defended the Aquino family. The singer shared a screenshot of a Facebook post suggesting that the powerful political family in the Philippines is cursed.
“Pure evil. How can @facebook allow this account to continue doing this. To suggest that Kris Aquino is sick as a family curse and seemingly deserves it is just Pure Evil. No other words to describe. And the language. This coming from a lawyer. Is this the Filipino today?” Janno wrote in the caption of his post.
To recall, in Kris Aquino‘s most recent post, she said that she is saying goodbye for now because she has to focus on recovering from her rare disease.
Several Instagram followers of Janno agreed with what he said. They also condemned the post against the Aquino family. There were also those who said that they already reported to Facebook these kinds of post while others defended the Aquinos and cited what the political family has done for the country.
Meanwhile, Janno Gibbs apologized to his social media followers who noticed that these past few days, his post are concentrated on political topics.
The singer assured his followers that he will be posting about showbiz these coming days.
