BBP aspirant Herlene Budol a.k.a Hipon Girl flaunts Higantes Festival-themed national costume.
HERLENE BUDOL – Famous comedienne Herlene Budol takes everyone in awe as she flaunted her massive national costume in the pageant.
In a previous article, the date, venue, coronation night schedule, and other details of this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant have been revealed. According to the announcement, the pageant’s coronation night will be on July 31, 2022, and will be held in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
A live telecast of the coronation night will be aired via A2Z, TV5, Metro Channel, and The Kapamilya Channel. It will also be streamed on the digital platforms of the organization such as Bb. Pilipinas’ official Youtube Channel and iWantTFC. Tickets will be soon available Ticketnet with the ticket price ranging from Php 500.00 for general admission to Php 10,500.00 for VIP.
And just recently, getting much attention online is the massive Higantes Festival-themed national costume of Herlene Budol who is more popularly known as Hipon Girl. She is one of the 40 official candidates for the pageant.
Higantes Festival is from Angono, Rizal, her costume was as tall as her and weighs three times her weight. The costume was created by Filipino fashion designer Patrick Isorena and the cape she wore was hand-painted by Ebok Sausa Pinpiño, a visual artist based in Angono.
And from the looks of it, they sure spent a hefty amount to complete the costume which deeply reflects the culture and way of life in Angono. Wilbert Tolentino, her manager, revealed that they burned a six-digit amount for that costume.

Meanwhile, as for her participation in the said beauty pageant, her mentor and the one who discovered her, Willie Revillame told her to be true. She needs no pretending because people have seen how she started in the industry which she fully agreed to.
