In a recent Instagram post, the wife of Senator Chiz Escudero showcased a modern Filipiniana outfit. “My kind of Filipiniana by my darling @cheetahriverastudio,” the Kapuso star wrote in the caption of her post.
Based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the modern Filipiniana that Heart Evangelista was wearing in her recent IG post was designed by Cheetah Rivera. The designer named the dress “Santiago,” after the late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago who is being considered by the actress as her second mother.
“Meet ‘Santiago.’ A bespoked modern-day terno paired with a floral appliqué micro-mini dress adorned with embroidered ‘mariposa’ of varying shades and sizes by our local artisans,” Rivera described the dress.
It can be noticed that Heart completed her OOTD with a tiny bag. A netizen asked her about this. “Mareng Heart ano lang nanaman laman ng bag mong expensive? [crying emoji]” the curious netizen asked. Heart replied to this in jest. “Peace of mind and confidence po,” the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations quipped.
The fashion icon is known for showcasing simple stuff from luxury brands like her hanger from Chanel.
