A Facebook user named John Darwin Torreja has shared the video footage of a group of men burying a dog alive in front of a Church. The video goes viral and immediately garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the video, it can be seen that Torreja confronted a group of men trying to bury a dog alive in front of a church in San Mateo, Rizal. The poor dog has been tied and placed inside a hole while crying.

Torreja immediately reported it to the police authorities for blotter. The latter also filmed the incident to serve as evidence against the suspects.

However, the suspects explained that they just placed the dog in the hole and will not bury the animal. Adora also criticized the group for not seeking help from veterinarians before taking action.

The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has also expressed its disappointment due to the incident. PAWS executive director Anna Cabrera said that dogs have feelings too.

The dog named “Church” has been brought to a veterinarian but eventually passed away because of its condition. The culprits may face six months to 2 years of jail time if proven guilty.
