Male Teenager Steals Parked Bicycle in Quezon City, Owner Pleads to Return the Stolen Bike

ROBBERY INCIDENT – A male teenager has been caught on camera while stealing a bicycle parked in Payatas, Quezon City.

Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.

The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.

The CCTV footage installed at a residential area in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City caught the robbery act of a male teenager. The suspect has been spotted roaming around the area and observing the surroundings before stealing the bicycle.

According to the bicycle owner, her son parked the bike outside their home after playing basketball. The owner purchased the bike about two months ago. The bike has been bought for P4, 500, which was used by the owner’s kid to run errands.

“Ginagamit po kasi yun ng anak ko pag bibili, siyempre mag-aapat na anak ko, siya po yung inuutusan at inaasahan ko,” the owner said.

The police authorities discovered that the suspect is only 17-year-old. The cops visited the culprit’s home but the latter does not live in their house anymore, according to the suspect’s mother.

The lady bike owner urged the suspect to return the bicycle because it was important for their daily use. “Ibalik mo na lang yung bike kasi ginagamit po ng anak ko yun pag inuutusan ko siyempre wala akong maasahan, ibalik mo na lang,” the woman reiterated.
