Hipon Girl Catches Attention Of Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil
HIPON GIRL – Binibini no. 8 Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol caught the attention of Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil.
One of the 40 contestants vying for the four titles in the 2022 edition of the Binibining Pilipinas is Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol. The coronation night of the national pageant is set for next month.
The former “Wowowin” host and comedian is adamant about having what it takes to be a beauty queen. She stated that while competing in the pageant, she will promote autism awareness and early detection.
When Hipon Girl was selected as one of the official candidates for Bb. Pilipinas 2022 in April, she explicitly said that she wanted to win the crown and the title of Miss Grand International Philippines.
The 22-year-old aspiring beauty queen was able to personally convey to Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil her obsession with the Miss Grand International Philippines crown when the Thai businessman attended an event of Bb. Pilipinas 2022 candidates. When Hipon introduced herself, she took the opportunity to tell Nawat about her dream.
“I am a TV host, actress, vlogger, recording artist and… a content creator and I am looking… for children’s autism awareness and my dream is the first… and my dream is to be the first Miss Grand International from my country…”
“And I [will] use it as a platform to raise awareness of my cause,” she added.

Hipon Girl succeeded in her “para-paraan scheme” because Nawat Itsaragrisil noticed her. Nawat posted the introduction video of the aspiring beauty queen on his Instagram stories.
Hipon took to her Instagram account to thank Nawat. In the caption, she said, “It is an honor of meeting you in person. Thank you for the visit here in the country.
“And thank you for featuring me in your IG story. It is an honor of such gestures. I am hoping the stars will align to my dream crown and maybe be part of your rosters of Miss Grand International Queens.”
“I hope you will have a more enjoyable stay in Manila! Khaup Khun Kha!”
