Still Unidentified Person Shot Barangay Kagawad in Masbate, Investigation Ongoing

BARANGAY KAGAWAD IN MASBATE – Edison Rosero was shot by a still unidentified person while watching a basketball tournament at their place.

Every day, there are several unfortunate incidents that take place in different areas of the country. There are those that are considered accidents as they were caused by inevitable factors. These incidents usually take place on the road. There are also unfortunate circumstances that seem to have been planned by at least one person for an ill purpose – to cause harm to another person or family.

Unfortunately, many of these seemingly-planned incidents have either left people injured or dead. It left families grieving for the loss of their loved ones and crying for justice. Recently, in Masbate, another family lost their loved one following a seemingly-planned ill incident.

Barangay Kagawad in Masbate

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a barangay kagawad in Masbate was shot by a still unidentified person while he was watching a basketball tournament. The victim was identified as Edison Rosero, a 55-year-old barangay kagawad in Capaculan, Milagros.

According to Milagros Municipal Police Station Chief Police Major Rustom dela Torre, Rosero was shot by a still unidentified person in the head while he was watching the tournament. The Police said that the victim was on his back when the incident that caused his death happened.

Dela Torre cited the possibility that the suspect has another accomplice in the area. Based on the report, there were no other people who were hurt in the incident. The suspect has yet to be identified but there are two (2) persons of interest who are currently under investigation.

The police authorities are probing the incident. More updates may be posted soon.
