Maris Racal and Rico Blanco talked about their “firsts”
Celebrity couple Maris Racal and Rico Blanco shared the story of their first date and what happened after they did their first collaboration.
When Maris and Rico finally confirmed their relationship, they received love and support from fans and netizens who are rooting for them. From that, the couple has slowly opened up to the public the things about their relationship.
In a recent vlog of Maris, she spent an afternoon with her boyfriend and they reminisced the things they have first done together as a couple. When they become a couple, Maris Racal admitted that there was fear in her. She was afraid of what will be the reaction of the people, apparently because of their age gap. However, on Rico Blanco’s part, he said that he was not afraid to admit it publicly.
The couple revealed that their first date happened in Las Vegas. Rico was in Miami at that time as he was researching for the hostel that he plans to establish. Maris, on the other hand, was doing her US tour. During her 5-day off, they spent time together as Rico decided to go to Vegas to be with her.
“To me, it was so impossible. But ikaw nakaisip na why not pumunta ka doon sa Vegas,’Di ba? Tapos ‘yun na ‘yung first date natin. Like, parang sobrang, ‘What? First date natin sa Vegas?’” the actress-singer said.
They also shared that they had a road trip to Arizona together with friends of Maris. “As in super saya lang nung araw na ‘yun. And we took so many videos, photos. Ikaw ‘yung nag-picture sa akin,” Maris said.
With this, Rico asked his girlfriend if she can now post the photos they took during that date and Maris said, “Yeah, pwede.” In the same vlog, the couple also recalled the first collaboration that they did and it was because of Maris’s tweet.
She admitted that she was hoping at that time Rico would see her tweet. Her fans tagged the former Rivermaya band member and so he wrote a positive reply. After they recorded songs, Rico asked Maris to watch a movie with him with the intention to date her. “Ako gusto ko na nga ng date kasi tapos na ang trabaho natin,” Rico Blanco said.
