Ryza Cenon talked about the theme of her new movie ‘Rooftop’
Actress Ryza Cenon shared her thoughts on pranks being done by some people that lead to bullying.
On social media, pranks have become a trend. Several vloggers and social media influencers have already done this kind of content. This has become a trend also among barkadas.
This is the theme of Ryza’s new horror movie under Viva Films. In the movie, Epy Quizon’s character was a janitor who was a prank victim that led to bullying and he died after falling off the building.
Bsaed on the article in Bandera, Ryza Cenon was asked if she ever did a prank on anyone. The actress answered, “No, I’ve never been involved in such a prank, simply because I don’t approve of such pranks, lalo na ‘yung may masasaktan. Kaya nga may lesson din itong movie na ito, e.”
She explained that this was also about bullying and stressed that barkadas should not do what they did to the character of Epy that ended in tragedy.
Meanwhile, Ryza said that during taping, she was using her “third eye” to deliver the emotion of fear that was needed in certain scenes. She said that she could feel “spirits” in the abandoned Quezon Institute where they filmed.
“When I feel something creepy on the set, doon na lang ako humuhugot para mairehistro ko on cam na mukha talaga akong takot na takot,” the actress shared. She explained that in scenes in which the ghost was trying to scare them, they had to pretend that there was someone scaring them.
Ryza Cenon also shared her thoughts on their director Yam Laranas who is also the screenwriter and the director of photography. “Nakakabilib siya na kaya niya lahat gawin yun. Kung titingnan mo, nakakapagod, pero obvious na siya, nage-enjoy lang sa ginagawa niya,” she said.
