Miel Pangilinan Slams “Insanely Offensive” Comment On Coming Out Post

This netizen wishes that the coming out post of Miel Pangilinan is fake news.

MIEL PANGILINAN – Megastar’s daughter Miel Pangilinan reacts to this comment of a netizen who wished her coming out post is fake news.

Q in LGBTQ stands for queer which describes those people who are not exclusively heterosexual. And Miel Pangilinan, in her coming out post, identified herself as a queer. This is her first time celebrating Pride Month and in a previous article, the confession brought her freedom and made her even happier.

She’s happy and grateful, especially to the people surrounding her, because she got the comfort and the feeling of safety to celebrate her identity. She also said, “Happiest and safest of pride months, allies and members of the queer community alike.”

Her post was flooded with much love and support but one comment caught her attention. The commenter expressed her wish that her post is just fake news. The commenter is seemingly upset over her pride post but also commended Miel for her bravery to come out.

But this comment did not suit Miel. She finds it insanely offensive. She’s sorry for her broken heart upon hearing her confession but being a queer did not break Miel’s heart. Accordingly, no amount of commendation for her bravery will ever reject the thought that she wished her otherwise.

“I truly hope that you learn to be a more tolerant person and if you don’t you have no place in my comments section or in any of the communities I’m a part of,” Miel added.

Meanwhile, Megastar Sharon Cuneta broke her silence about her daughter’s confession and stressed that she’ll be treated with no difference in their family. She’s just happy that her daughter is now happier after that confession.

She believes her daughter’s identity is just an aspect of her whole. She believes Miel is still the same good person and with a good heart. She quipped in her post even. “I will love her just the same, if not more.”
