Businessman Shot By 2 Still Unidentified Suspects in Oriental Mindoro

Businessman Aristotle Rivas, the brother of a municipal councilor in Pola, Oriental Mindoro, was shot in a public market.

Unfortunately, daily, there are a lot of incidents that leave families saddened and grieving over the sudden loss of their loved ones. Some of these incidents are accidents most especially on the road while others are seemingly planned incidents with an intention to cause harm.

Recently, in Oriental Mindoro, a seemingly planned incident took place – a man was shot while he was guarding his business in a public market. The victim was identified as Aristotle Rivas who owns a store in Pola Public Market.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Aristotle Rivas is also a brother of one of the municipal councilors in Pola, Oriental Mindoro. The initial investigation showed that the businessman was eating when the incident took place.

While the 39-year-old businessman was eating in front of his own store in Pola public market, two (2) men came near him and one of them shot him in the head. They were able to escape from the place through a motorcycle that took the road out from the municipality.

Based on the report, Rivas died on the spot. Currently, the investigation of the incident is still ongoing. Furthermore, the pursuit operation to catch the suspects behind the incident is also ongoing. More updates may be posted soon.
