Taylor Swift Opens Up About Directing A Feature Film

TAYLOR SWIFT – “All Too Well” singer Taylor Swift revealed that she wanted to direct her own feature film.

One of the biggest music artists in the world today is Taylor Swift. She has shown herself to be the biggest name in pop and country music. Due to her success, the New York University (NYU) decided to offer a new course about Taylor for the 2022 Spring semester.

On May 18, 2022, the 32-year-old singer from Nashville, Tennessee delivered NYU 2022 commencement speech at the Yankee Stadium in New York City. The event was also attended by Vice President Leni Robredo and her three daughters Aika, Tricia, and Jillian.

Aside from singing and songwriting, Taylor Swift is also good at directing music videos. In fact, she has directed a handful of music videos, and a short film.

The 11-time Grammy winner was the one who directed the 10-minute version of her hit “All Too Well.” The short film starred by Sadie Sink, Dylan O’Brien, and Taylor herself was premiered in November 2021. Now, the singer got her sights set on something much bigger.

In a conversation with the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend, Taylor Swift disclosed that she would “love” to direct a feature film. “It would be so fantastic to write and direct something,” she said.

The superstar appeared at an event to discuss her All Too Well short film. During the event, she said that when she does venture into the world of full-length films, she wants to do it with a small crew just like how she did it with “All Too Well.”

“I don’t see it being bigger, in terms of scale. I loved making a film that was so intimate,” Tay said.
