Judy Ann Santos is set to have her TV comeback
Teleserye superstar Judy Ann Santos will join the Magandang Buhay family as Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez takes a temporary leave.
Regine replaced Queen Mother Karla Estrada when she left the show for her political stint. The mother of Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla ran under Tingog party list. This time, it is Regine who will leave the show for now.
The singer will have her Iconic concert tour in the U.S. with Megastar Sharon Cuneta. With this, Judy Ann Santos will take her place. Juday’s last TV show was the docu-drama Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan. After this, she took a break from doing projects on TV.
The teleserye superstar, based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, admitted that she refused to accept projects during the time when there was a high level of restrictions due to the pandemic.
Apparently, the actress is not so worried anymore as the situation eased. With this, she will be joining Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal for the Kapamilya morning talk show.
Magandang Buhay has officially announced this on its Instagram account. “May bago tayong special guest Ku-Momshie na makakasama! Bagong chikahan at kulitan with our special guest co-host Queen of Soap Opera, Momshie Judy Ann Santos! Abangan sa #MagandangBuhay!” the caption of the post stated. Netizens who commented on this post expressed their excitement to watch Judy Ann Santos as MB’s new guest co-host.
The morning talk show also wished Regine Velasquez good luck for her concert with Sharon Cuneta. “Siguradong magiging THE BEST at AMAZING ang Iconic Concert niyo, Momshie Reg! Excited na kaming maki-birit sa inyo ni Mega Momshie Sharon live na live! Congrats in advance and see you soon, Momshie Reg!” MB stated in the post.
As of this writing, the show has not announced yet when will the start of Juday’s appearance as a guest co-host.
