PAGASA Says PH to Experience Hot & Humid Weather After LPA Dissipates

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (June 7)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the country will experience a hot and humid weather condition after a low-pressure area dissipates.

On Tuesday (June 7, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) will be extending over the eastern section of Luzon. It will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The Localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao and Benguet as well as entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.

The weather agency has warned the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the remaining parts of the country will experience a hot and humid weather condition after the low pressure area (LPA) off Romblon completely dissipated.

“Kasalukuyan, nakakaranas po tayo ng maganda at maaliwalas na panahon, hindi lamang dito sa Metro Manila kundi sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng ating bansa. ‘Yong low pressure area na ating binabantayan kahapon ay tuluyan na pong nalusaw,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

The coastal water condition over western and northern sections of northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of the archipelago will have a slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
